Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Project Development Support is to provide support and assist the Director of Project Development with day-to-day tasks. You will receive training, equipping you with the knowledge, tools, resources, and ongoing support from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support where needed to the Direct of Project Development/Project Developers
  • Proactively network with Project Developers and pursue sales opportunities by providing admin support
  • Assist with the assembly and disbursement of marketing content to Project Developers
  • Keep the team informed of all changes to major utilities and market trends
  • Update Information regularly on the NewGen Energy Portal
  • Receive and organize key site survey information provided by Project Developers
  • Accurately assisting with the documentation and tracking of open leads in company CRM
  • Utilize computer systems and programs to retain and apply project specific information
  • Compile project statistics to submit for energy analyst
  • Aid the Director of Project Development with information to accurately complete project estimates
  • Prepare and present project information to assist with the custom construction of solar proposals and contracts
  • Collaborate with all Project Development team members to ensure a smooth sale process
  • Identifying and understanding the Project Development department pain points and offer solutions when needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative work
  • Solar experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Windows and general computer software
  • Strong communication skills with supervisors
  • Clean criminal record
  • Willingness and ability to pass an initial drug test, and to submit to ongoing random drug testing, per company policy
  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Strong candidates will offer the following:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of alternative energy industry
  • Knowledge of PG&E documentation preferred
  • Knowledge of Google Earth
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with others
  • Excel and CRM software knowledge a plus

Compensation: $40,000 -$65,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
